Results of general meeting and finalisation announcement for offer

Shareholders are advised that at the general meeting of shareholders of SACMH held today,
the resolution to authorise the directors to apply for the removal of the shares from the main
board of the JSE Limited (“JSE”), was approved with the requisite majority of votes.

Note that the offeror, JSW Energy Natural Resources South Africa Proprietary Limited, and its
associates were not entitled to vote in respect of resolution number 1.
The resolutions proposed at the meeting, together with the percentage of shares voted or
abstained as well as the percentage of votes carried for and against each resolution are
displayed below:
