BEE CERTIFICATE AND ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT
Shareholders are advised that the Company’s latest 2019/2020 Broad-Based Black Economic
Empowerment (“B-BBEE”) certificate is available on the Company’s website at:

Shareholders are further reminded that Novus had embarked on a full review of the B-BBEE certification
process. The timing of this review coincided with the effective date of the revised B-BBEE codes on 1
December 2019, so Novus is proud to advise that the latest level 2 rating is based on the company’s
most recent Annual Financial Statements, and accounts accurately for all current and relevant
shareholding data under the latest codes. As a result the current new B-BBEE certificate is valid until 11
December 2020.
The submission of the Annual Compliance Report in terms of section 13G(2) of the B-BBEE Amendment
Act, No 46 of 2013, to the B-BBEE Commission is in progress, and shareholders will be informed as soon
as the report is available on the Company’s website.
