QUARTERLY UPDATE


Shareholders are referred to the:
-      announcement released on SENS on 10 October 2019, further details of which are set out
       below;
-      last quarterly update dated 27 January 2020; and
-      SENS announcement, dated 29 July 2016, relating to the voluntary suspension of the
       Company’s shares on the JSE Limited (“JSE”) (“the Suspension”).

In line with paragraph 1(10)(c) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Company is obliged to provide
the market with an update on the state of the affairs of the Company until the Suspension is lifted.

SENS announcement dated 10 October 2019 (“Announcement”)
In terms of the Announcement, the Company advised that it had entered into a Share Purchase
Agreement with the shareholders of Langpan Mining Co Proprietary Limited (“Langpan”) in terms of
which the vendors will dispose of their entire shareholding in Langpan (“the Acquisition”).

The Acquisition constitutes a related party transaction and a reverse take-over for MRI and will require
a circular to shareholders, containing, inter alia, revised listing particulars. A copy of the Announcement

announcements.

The Business Plan required in terms of the JSE Listings Requirements has been approved by the JSE
and the Company will continue to keep shareholders advised as to progress relating to the Acquisition.
