DIRECTORS OPTIONS

Eastern Platinum Limited announces that on September 27, 2012, three directors of the Company have
elected to surrender a portion of their stock options. Ian Rozier surrendered a total of 11,425,000 options
over ordinary shares of no par value, John Andrews surrendered a total of 1,950,000 options over
ordinary shares of no par value and David Cohen surrendered a total of 600,000 options over ordinary
shares of no par value. The surrender of the options is effective immediately and the surrender was
completed for nil consideration.

Following the surrender, the total shares issued and outstanding remained 928,187,807.
