UNAUDITED CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024 

AOE is an investment holding company incorporated in South Africa and listed on the JSE 
Limited ("JSE") in the "apparel retailers" sector. The company has investments in fashion 
retail, property, media and broadcasting and water infrastructure. 

FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS 
- Revenue decreased by 4.5% to R458.2 million (2023: R480.0 million) 
- Gross profit margin % increased to 52.4% (2023: 46.5%) 
- Operating profit increased by 9.7% to R44.8 million (2023: R40.9 million) 
- Earnings per share increased by 1.7% to 77.6 cents (2023: 76.3 cents) 
- Headline earnings per share increased by 0.5% to 76.9 cents (2023: 76.5 cents) 
- Net asset value per share increased by 1.2% to R19.85 (2023: R19.62) 
- Ordinary dividend per share paid amounted to nil cents (2023: nil cents)
