RESULTS OF THE AGM
Shareholders are advised that, at the Company’s AGM held today, 18
October 2013, all the ordinary and special resolutions as set out on
pages 188 to 192 of the Company’s integrated annual report 2013 were
approved by the requisite majority of shareholders present and eligible
to vote at the meeting except for the special resolution regarding
financial assistance in terms of Section 44 of the Companies Act 71 of
2008 (the “Companies Act”).
DIVIDEND
Shareholders are also reminded that the directors of the Company have, in
terms of section 46 of the Companies Act, declared a final gross cash
dividend of 3,30 cents per share (2,805 cents per share net of dividend
withholdings tax, where applicable)for the year ended 30 June 2013. The
dividend has been declared from income reserves and no secondary tax on
the Companies credits has been used. A dividend withholding tax of 15%
will be applicable to all shareholders who are not exempt. In accordance
with settlement procedures of STRATE, the following dates will apply to
the final dividend:
Last day to trade cum divided: Friday, 15 November 2013
Trading ex dividend commences: Monday, 18 November 2013
Record date: Friday, 22 November 2013
Dividend payment date: Monday, 25 November 2013
There will be no dematerialisation or rematerialisation of the Company’s
shares between Monday, 18 November 2013 and Friday, 22 November 2013,
both dates inclusive.
