RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 31 July 2019 in which they were
advised that the JSE had granted a further extension to AEP, until 30 September 2019, in order to
finalise the acquisition of its Viable Asset.

Shareholders are advised that the Company continues to engage with relevant stakeholders towards
concluding the Viable Asset acquisition.

As a result of the aforesaid, shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in
the Company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
