The Company subsequently changed its name to Argent Industrial Limited on 27 September 1999 and at inception was largely focussed on supporting the mining operation through building tipper trucks and refurbishing engines. Following the name change in 1999, the Group quickly diversified into Steel trading and manufacturing through the acquisition of a number of businesses, including Phoenix Steel, Hendor Mining and Jetmaster in 2003.
