MANAGEMENT Fund Manager's Comment
Rehana Rungasamy, B Com, SAIFM
Rehana joined Absa Asset Management in May 2008 as a Fixed Interest Rate Dealer, where she assumed responsibility for the money market and bond trading. Previously, she worked for Stanlib Asset Management where she fulfilled different roles, starting out as a Trade Processing Manager before joining their Fixed Interest Rate trading desk as a money market Dealer. Rehana holds a Bcom degree specializing in Accounting and Economics from UNISA.
James Turp, B.Econ, SAIFM
James joined Absa Asset Management (ABAM) in December 2013 as Portfolio Manager for domestic bonds. He has a wealth of experience having spent 22 years working within local and international investment bank treasuries and at a parastatal treasury. The majority of his career has been focussed on fixed income market making and managing of a trading portfolio in South African fixed income products. Previous employers include Nedbank Capital, WestLB, Standard Bank and Eskom treasury.

The Absa Income Enhancer aims to provide investors with a high interest income return over the short to medium term. The investable universe of the fund will include interest bearing and non-equity securities, including but not limited to bonds, cash deposits and money market instruments. Modified duration of the fund will not exceed 2 years.
