Investec (comprising Investec plc and Investec Limited) – update on the pre-close
trading statement

As part of the dual listed company structure, the boards of Investec plc and Investec Limited
(together the "Boards") notify both the London Stock Exchange and the JSE Limited of
matters which are required to be disclosed under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency
Rules, and Listing Rules of the United Kingdom Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and/or the JSE
Listings Requirements.

Accordingly, we advise of the following in accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) (iv) of the JSE
Listings Requirements and confirms that this announcement contains Inside Information as
defined in Article 7 of the Market Abuse Regulation.

Shareholders are referred to the pre-close trading update for the half year ended
30 September 2023 which was released on SENS and RNS on 22 September 2023 and
which contained the following guidance:

                         1H2024 range           1H2023
 Adjusted EPS - p        35.5 to 37.5             32.9
 Basic EPS – p           67.2 to 69.2             50.6
 HEPS – p                33.8 to 35.8             32.0

We are pleased to advise that the guidance has been updated as follows:

                         1H2024 range           1H2023
 Adjusted EPS - p        38.0 to 39.0             32.9
 Basic EPS - p           69.0 to 70.0             50.6
 HEPS - p                36.5 to 37.5             32.0


The financial information on which this trading statement is based, has not been reviewed and
reported by the external auditors.

The interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2023 will be announced on 16
November 2023.
