DECLARATION AND FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT - CHANGE OF NAME OF THE COMPANY


At the annual general meeting of shareholders of Fortress held on Tuesday, 6 December 2022, the special resolution
proposed with regard to the change of name of the Company from "Fortress REIT Limited" to "Fortress Real Estate
Investments Limited" was approved by the requisite majority of shareholders, and has subsequently been submitted to
the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission ("CIPC") for registration.

Set out below are the anticipated salient dates and times with regard to the change of name:

Notes:
1. Share certificates received after 12h00 on Friday, 6 January 2023 will be posted within five days after receipt.
2. Share certificates in the name of Fortress REIT Limited may not be dematerialised or rematerialised after Tuesday,
   3 January 2023.

Fortress will retain its history and remain listed in same sector subsequent to the name change.
