NOTIFICATION OF JSE'S DECISION REGARDING FORTRESS' REIT STATUS AND FORTRESS' INTENTION TO OBJECT


Shareholders are referred to the announcement with regard to the Company's REIT status and the demand to call general
meetings of shareholders released on 2 November 2022. Unless otherwise defined, words defined in the announcement
released on 2 November 2022 bear the same meaning in this announcement.

Fortress has today received correspondence from the JSE noting that Fortress has not submitted a compliant REIT
declaration, and consequently, the JSE intends to remove Fortress’ REIT status in accordance with paragraph 13.50(c)
of the JSE Listings Requirements ("Decision"). The Decision, including the implementation thereof, is subject to the
objection process referred to in paragraph 1.4 of the JSE Listings Requirements (the "Objection Process").
Shareholders are advised that Fortress will lodge an objection with the JSE in accordance with the provisions of the
Objection Process.

Further updates in this regard will be released on SENS as appropriate.
