NOTIFICATION OF AN UPDATE TO THE PROGRAMME MEMORANDUM AND SUPPLEMENT

Deutsche Bank AG London (Issuer) has received approval from the JSE Limited (JSE) in respect of its
amended programme memorandum dated 21 October 2019 (the Amended PM), and the Supplement
dated 21 October 2019 established in relation to the Issuer’s X-Markets Programme.

A summary of the changes effected in the Amended PM and Supplement is provided below:

-   The terms and conditions have been updated for amendments to the JSE Listings Requirements
    (the Requirements) currently inforce;
-   The Description of the Issuer section, including, but not limited to, its business, management,
    directors and corporate governance disclosure has been updated.

The Amended PM and Supplement are available for inspection at the registered office of Deutsche
Bank AG London and has been made available for inspection on its website at
https://www.xmarkets.db.com/ZA/Publications/Brochure-Download

The Amended PM and Supplement will also be available for inspection on the JSE’s website at
www.jse.co.za.
