Jason will, accordingly, no longer be an Executive Director on the Boards with immediate effect. The Boards thank Jason for his very significant contribution to Absa since 2008 and wish him well in his future endeavours. Shareholders are also informed that Chris Snyman will become Interim Group Financial Director of Absa Group and Absa Bank with immediate effect, subject to regulatory approval. He will also become an Executive Director on the Boards. Chris joined Absa in 2008 and is Head of Financial Decision Support, a role which he has held for the last 10 years.
