RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT


Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released on SENS on
27 September 2023 advising shareholders that the Company had initiated a process to
investigate and progress a potential delisting of Ascendis from the JSE as the next step in its
strategy to unlock value and return capital to Ascendis shareholders and consequently entered
into discussions with a consortium led by ACN Capital IHC (Pty) Limited, an entity owned and
controlled by Carl Neethling ("ACN Capital").

Shareholders are hereby advised that discussions with ACN Capital are still in progress and
accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company's securities until a further announcement is made in relation to the aforementioned
or the cautionary is withdrawn.

The board of the Company collectively and individually accept responsibility for the information
contained in this announcement and certify that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, the
