AVAILABILITY OF THE ANNUAL REPORT (INCORPORATING UPDATED ANNUAL FINANCIAL
STATEMENTS)
York shareholders ("Shareholders") are hereby advised that the Company's 2023 annual report
containing, inter alia, the information required in terms of paragraph 8.62 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements and incorporating the group's updated audited consolidated and separate annual
financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2023 ("Annual Financial Statements") is scheduled
to be published by today, 30 October 2023, on the Company's website at
http://www.york.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2023AnnualReport.pdf.
Shareholders are further advised that the Annual Financial Statements which are also available via the
following JSE cloudlink: https://senspdf.jse.co.za/documents/2023/jse/isse/YRK/AFS2023.pdf and will
be published by today, 30 October 2023 on the Company's website at
http://www.york.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/AFS2023.pdf, have been updated to correct the
below errors, following publication of the Annual Financial Statements on SENS on Friday, 29
September 2023:
(i) a typing error regarding the incorrect inclusion of the "Issue of shares" figure under the
"Total reserves" column in the "Statement of Changes in Equity"; and
(ii) an arithmetical error made in determining the opening balance used in arriving at the restated
"Investment in Subsidiaries" amount included in the Company "Statement of Financial Position" for
the year ended 30 June 2021, resulting in the "Statement of Financial Position" in respect of the
financial year ended 30 June 2021 not balancing.
These updates had no impact on the Annual Financial Statements or disclosures therein, as previously
published on SENS on Friday, 29 September 2023. Despite the nature of the error, item (ii) above also
has no impact on any disclosures arising from the restatements disclosed in note 32.9 of the Annual
Financial Statements, nor on any of the 30 June 2023, or the 2022 comparative numbers. Furthermore,
these updates did not result in any changes to the unmodified audit opinion previously issued by Deloitte
& Touché on the Annual Financial Statements.
