TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the Company is finalising its Provisional Condensed
Consolidated Results for the year ended 31 August 2022.
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain
that the financial results for the financial period to be reported on next will differ by at
least 20% from those of the prior comparative period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the Group basic earnings per share (“EPS”) for
the year ended 31 August 2022 will be 5.62 cents, compared to the EPS of (3.79) cents per
share reported for the year ended 31 August 2021.
The Group headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) for the year ended 31 August 2022 will be
5.65 cents, compared to HEPS of (3.39) cents per share reported on for the year ended 31
August 2021.
The Group’s results will be published on 16 November 2022.
