Change in audit firm and designated audit partner

African Rainbow Capital Investments Limited
(Incorporated in the Republic of Mauritius)
(Company number: C148430)
JSE and A2X code: AIL and AILJ
ISIN: MU0553S00000
("ARC Investments" or "the Company")

CHANGE IN AUDIT FIRM AND DESIGNATED AUDIT PARTNER

In compliance with paragraph 3.75 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited (“JSE Listings
Requirements”), the board of directors of the Company hereby notifies shareholders that
PricewaterhouseCoopers (Mauritius) will be appointed as the independent external auditor to ARC
Investments with effect from the 2023 financial year, replacing the Company’s current auditor
PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.

Shareholders are further advised that Mr John Li How Cheong of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Mauritius) will
be appointed as the Company’s designated audit partner as to JSE regulatory matters with effect from the
2023 financial year, replacing Mr Vincent Tshikhovhokhovho of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.

The reason for the above changes is that PricewaterhouseCoopers Mauritius is now an accredited auditor by
the JSE and will, going forward accept all responsibilities as designated auditor of ARC Investments.
Previously, the financial statements of the Company were prepared in South Africa solely for the purpose of
complying with the JSE Listings Requirements, in addition to the Company’s statutory financial statements in
compliance with the filing requirements in Mauritius, where the Company is domiciled.

The above appointments are subject to confirmation by the Company’s shareholders at the forthcoming
annual general meeting.
