The selection and approval of the new independent auditor in terms of IRBA’s mandatory audit firm rotation for the 2024 financial year will be considered during the current financial year. The company’s current independent auditor Ernst & Young (EY) have, on the recommendation of the ACC, been re-appointed by the Board for FY2023, with Merisha Kassie as the designated audit partner. EY’s re-appointment will be presented at the 2022 AGM for shareholder approval.
