NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN EXTERNAL AUDITOR

Shareholders are advised that, following the conclusion of a tender
process, the Audit, Governance and Risk Committee has recommended,
and the Board has endorsed, the proposed appointment of BDO South
Africa Incorporated (‘BDO’) to succeed Deloitte & Touche as the
Company’s external auditor, effective for the financial period
ending on 30 June 2023.

The proposed appointment will be put to shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting of the Company, scheduled for 22 November 2022 (‘2022
AGM’).

BDO will make use of the services of SekelaXabiso CA Incorporated
(‘SkX’) as part of their engagement to assist with knowledge sharing
and development.

The change in external auditor is due to the Board’s decision to
adopt mandatory audit firm rotation ahead of the prescribed date.
Deloitte & Touche will continue to audit the Company’s accounts in
respect of the financial period ended on 30 June 2022 and Deloitte’s
term as external auditor will end on conclusion of the 2022 AGM.
BDO’s term as external auditor will commence at the conclusion of
the 2022 AGM and will be subject to shareholder’s approval.

Deloitte & Touche will have served as the Company’s external auditor
for a period of 22 years. The Board and Audit, Governance and Risk
Committee thank Deloitte & Touche for their contributions over the
years and look forward to working with BDO.
