PASSING OF PEMBURY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER ANDREW MCLACHLAN


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Pembury (“the Board”) regrets to notify shareholders of the sudden passing of Pembury’s Chief Executive
Officer, Mr Andrew McLachlan, on 31 May 2022.

Andrew’s invaluable insights and experience will be sorely missed. The Board extends its deepest
sympathies and condolences to Andrew’s family, friends and colleagues.

The Board will convene in due course to discuss changes to the Board and its committees, which changes
will be communicated to shareholders.
