CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 5 November 2021, advising that the chief
financial officer (“CFO”), Chris Booyens, would reach the compulsory retirement age per the Company’s policy and
would retire as CFO and from the board of directors of Ellies (“the Board”) on 5 January 2022.

The Board is pleased to announce that Guy Moretti, currently the Group Financial Manager of Ellies, will be 
appointed as CFO with effect from 5 January 2022.

Guy is an experienced Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in various sectors which include Retail,
Financial Services and Logistics. Formerly a Finance Executive with Taste Holdings, Guy has served in an executive
capacity for the last 10 years. Guy has been in the Ellies business for the past 18 months with responsibility for 
the Finance function, reporting to Chris. Chris will continue to be available in an advisory capacity to ensure a 
smooth handover.
