CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised that Mr. Sango Ntsaluba has resigned as independent non-executive director of
the Company with effect from 29 October 2021 and as a result will cease to be the Chairman
of the audit and risk committee of the Company following that date.

Mr. Ntsaluba has been a valued member of our board and has brought a wealth of experience
and expertise in key areas of our business.

The board of directors of Ascendis Health thanks Mr. Ntsaluba for his valuable contribution
during his tenure and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
