The following properties in Kwazulu-Natal have been affected by extensive looting and related damage: - Durban Workshop - Pinetown Pine Crest - Hammarsdale Junction - KwaMashu Shopping Centre The following properties in Gauteng have been affected by extensive looting and related damage: - Daveyton Shopping Centre - Soweto Dobsonville Mall Although the quantum of the damage is uncertain at this time, it does appear that most of the damage is concentrated around shopfronts and equipment with only two properties being Pinetown Pine Crest and KwaMashu Shopping Centre having suffered fire damage at this stage. The Company continues to work closely with law enforcement and security providers to maintain the safety and security of our staff, centre management, tenants, shoppers and our assets during this volatile time. Additional private security has been deployed to all affected and high-risk sites. The Company has the maximum amount of SASRIA cover in place to cover material damage and loss of rental. SASRIA, through our insurance broker, has been notified of the various incidents and a loss adjuster has been appointed to assess the damage.
