APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 (a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
hereby notified that the board of directors of ArcelorMittal South Africa (Board) has approved the
appointment of Ms Dawn Earp as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from
1 July 2021.
Ms Earp has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy degree and is a Chartered Accountant.
She has served as a non-executive director of various private and listed companies (and continues to do
so). She has also held various senior executive roles including that of Finance Director.
The Chairman of the Board stated that the Board was satisfied that Ms Earp would add significant value to
ArcelorMittal South Africa and further strengthen the Board, both in terms of experience and diversity, given
her vast experience in mining and industry as well her audit committee experience (including as chair).
