CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 (a) and (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the
Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal South Africa (Board) wish to advise shareholders of the following
changes to the Board:

1.      Mr Brian Aranha, currently Executive Vice President Corporate Business Optimization of
        the ArcelorMittal Group, and Non-Executive Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa, will be
        retiring as an executive in the ArcelorMittal Group with effect from 31 March 2021.
        Consequently, Mr Aranha has tendered his resignation as a director of the Company with
        effect from 31 March 2021. The Board expresses its appreciation to Mr Aranha for his
        valuable contribution to the Company in his capacity as a Non-Executive Director.

2.      Following the recommendation of the Human Resources, Remunerations and Nominations
        Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of Mr Bradley Davey as a Non-
        Executive Director, with effect from 01 April 2021. Mr Davey, Vice President of the
        ArcelorMittal Group, has been recently appointed to succeed Mr Brian Aranha as
        Executive Vice President Corporate Business Optimization in the ArcelorMittal Group as
        from 1 April 2021. In his previous role, he was Chief Executive Officer North America. He
        has a degree in mechanical engineering from McMaster University, Canada, has vast
        experience spanning about 30 years in the steel industry, and has held various senior
        leadership positions within the ArcelorMittal Group.

        Mr Davey is well qualified and has the necessary experience to effectively discharge his
        duties as a Non-Executive Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa. The Board congratulates
        Mr Davey on his appointment and looks forward to his valuable contribution.
