Interest payments, capital holidays, as well as term extensions up to seven years were negotiated, which also resulted in additional lines of funding of USD 20 million (NAD 340 million) being approved for utilisation in the financial services portfolio of the group in Namibia. The restructuring of the debt of the group’s African based funders has also subsequently been approved by the respective institutions and USD 15 million (NAD 250 million) of new funding has been earmarked for strategic investments. These transactions are subject to the legal documentation process. The group has no reason to believe that these transactions will not be successful.
