In terms of paragraph 1.11(c) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the company is obliged to provide an update to the market of the state of the affairs of the company until the Suspension is lifted. It remains Astoria’s intention to retain its primary listing on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (“SEM”) and the Alternative Exchange of the JSE with an objective of building a portfolio of investments that create long-term value for its shareholders. The board of directors of Astoria continues to investigate efficient methods to achieve this objective and is working closely with RECM & Calibre Limited, its ultimate controlling shareholder. Shareholders will be further advised of the date on which the Suspension is expected to be lifted once details of any restructure have been finalised.
