NOTICE OF DISTRIBUTION - SOUTH AFRICAN RAND RATE
In Glencore's 2018 results announcement, released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE
Limited on 20 February 2019, the board of directors declared a distribution of US$0.20 per ordinary share.
As approved by shareholders at the Company’s AGM held Thursday, 9 May 2019, the second distribution
tranche of US$0.10 payable in the second six months of the 2019 financial year, will be made from the
capital contribution reserves of the Company.
The currency exchange rate applicable for the distribution payable to shareholders on the Glencore plc
South African branch register has been determined by reference to the close of business exchange rate
applicable to the South African Rand on Monday, 26 August 2019. This rate is as follows:

Dematerialisation and rematerialisation of registered share certificates in South Africa may not be effected
during the period from Tuesday, 3 September 2019, to Friday, 6 September 2019, both days inclusive, nor
will transfers between the Jersey register and the South African register be permitted between, Tuesday,
27 August 2019, and Friday, 6 September 2019, both dates inclusive.
Due to a public holiday occurring on Tuesday, 24 September 2019, this distribution will be paid to South
African shareholders on Wednesday, 25 September 2019.
