Gawad Abaza is currently appointed as the President, Middle East, Asia and Africa region of Mondelez International and brings extensive experience of operating in a consumer focused business across the African continent. Prior to this appointment he held several senior management positions within the Middle East and Africa at Kraft and Cadbury. He holds a degree in biochemistry and an MBA in marketing. Gawad Abaza is also a non-executive director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. Following this appointment, Vivo Energy’s Board of Directors will comprise nine members, including an independent Non-Executive Chairman, four Independent Non-Executive Directors, two Non- Executive Directors and two Executive Directors.
