CLOSING OF FSCA INVESTIGATION: POSSIBLE INSIDER TRADING

Trustco shareholders (“Shareholders”) are referred to the press release issued by the Financial
Sector Conduct Authority (“FSCA”) on 29 March 2018 wherein the FSCA advised that it was
investigating transactions in Trustco securities for insider trading (Investigation reference number
TT0/400).

It should be noted that these investigations are not into the affairs of Trustco but into trading in
Trustco securities on the stock exchange.

Shareholders are advised that the FSCA has completed its above investigation and found no
evidence of insider trading. Accordingly, the above investigation has been closed by the FSCA.
