Ms Lupuwana-Pemba qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSoc.Sc) from the University of Cape Town, Associate in Management (AIM) from UCT Graduate School of Business and a Masters in Business Administration from the University Of Pretoria Graduate School Of Management. Ms Lupuwana-Pemba brings with her 17 years of management experience coupled with leadership skills; having worked at institutions such as First National Bank, Deloitte, the DTI, SEDA. She is currently the Managing Director & Head of Anglo American Zimele (“Anglo Zimele”), a R2 billion Equity and Debt Fund aimed at SME and BBBEE development specifically in the mine operating and labour sending areas of Anglo American. Ms Lupuwana-Pemba served on various boards including Thebe Investment Holdings, National Productivity Institute, South African Micro Finance Apex Fund (SAMAF) and Intersite She currently serves as director and Chairman of Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA).
