BENGUELA GLOBAL FUND MANAGERS’ LETTER TO CAPITEC –
CONCLUSION OF MATTER

We refer to a SENS announcement yesterday, 1 February
2018 directing shareholders to Capitec’s website for the
company’s response to Benguela Global Fund Managers’
(“BGFM”)concerns relating to a number of matters. We
advise that Capitec’s CFO, André du Plessis has had a
successful meeting with the BGFM team this morning.

We are pleased to advise that the BGFM team is satisfied
with Capitec’s response as set out in their same dated
response of which we include the full body of the letter:

“RE: Your letter of 01 February 2018

1. Thank you for your detailed letter (of 1 February
   2018) and a constructive meeting at our offices today
   addressing our concerns around the effect of
   rescheduling of loans on the business. We appreciate
   the exemplary way in which you handled our concerns.

2. We are comfortable with your extensive explanations.

3. We look forward to further constructive interactions
   in future.”
