Appointment of Interim Company Secretary

Following the resignation of Ms Nomonde Bam as the Company Secretary of ArcelorMittal
South Africa with effect from 1 November 2017, the Board of Directors (“Board”) have
commenced the process of identifying a suitable candidate to fill the position.

In order to ensure compliance with the requirement of filling the vacancy within 60 business
days as stipulated in Section 86 (4) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, the Board has
appointed Premium Corporate Consulting Services as Interim Company Secretary with effect
from Friday 26 January 2018.

A further announcement, setting out the details of the appointment of the Company Secretary,
will be published following the completion of the Board process in this regard.
