APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (“CFO”)

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby
advised that, having followed a robust recruitment
process in evaluating external and internal candidates,
the Chairman, the Human Capital Committee and the Board
are pleased to announce the appointment of Felix Lombard
as the new CFO of Pioneer Foods. This process was
unfortunately delayed by recent corporate activity.

Felix is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a
M.Com in Tax from the University of Stellenbosch. He is
currently the Business Executive for the Groceries
Division at Pioneer Foods and has been with the Group for
22 years. Felix has significant FMCG experience and the
required financial acumen for the CFO role. In addition
to the finance responsibilities of the Group, the CFO
will be accountable for the IT and M&A functions of the
Group.

Recruitment for a suitably qualified Business Executive
for Groceries will commence with immediate effect.

Felix will assume the role of CFO from 1 July 2017.
