APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised that the Company’s current Group Human Capital Executive, Ms
Basadifeela Letsoalo, has been appointed Executive Director: Human Capital and
Transformation, effective immediately.

Chairman, Clifford Raphiri commented:

“Basadi is a capable leader with a proven track record. Her promotion to the Board is affirmation of
the Company’s commitment to Transformation. I look forward to Basadi bringing fresh strategic
insights to our transformation journey. ”

Basadi is a qualified psychologist with a master’s degree and has extensive experience
across various industries, including at Telkom, ABSA and Standard Bank. She is also a
member of the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Council, a non-executive director at NMG
Consultants and Actuaries and Ad-Izinyosi Proprietary Limited, as well as a trustee of the
Mpho ea Bophelo Trust.

The Board wishes Basadi well in her new role.
