The board is pleased to announce that Mr Francois Knoetze has been
appointed as a non-executive director of FirstRand and its wholly-owned
subsidiary, FirstRand Bank with effect from 1 April 2016. The Office of
the Registrar of Banks has granted consent which was received today,
25 April 2016.
