RESULTS OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT


IHGL, the hotel and leisure focused property investment company, is pleased to announce that it has, today, completed
a further capital raising by way of a private placement.

IHGL raised an aggregate amount of GBP7 million (approximately ZAR156 million), by placing 7 million new IHGL
shares at an issue price of GBP1.00 per placement share (the “Placement”) with the Company’s cornerstone
shareholders, being Redefine Properties Limited, Redefine International P.L.C and Tsogo Sun Holdings Limited.

The Placement proceeds will be utilised to fund the acquisition of additional assets, details of which will be released in
due course.

Following the Placement, IHGL has a total of 55 000 000 ordinary shares in issue.
