LISTING OF ADDITIONAL NEWGOLD DEBENTURES


NewGold has, from commencement of business today, issued an additional 400,000 NewGold
debentures at an issue price of R187.50 per additional debenture, following subscriptions in
respect of approximately 3,822.228 fine troy ounces of gold bullion.


After the additional issue, there will be 98,077,939 NewGold debentures in issue, referencing
approximately 937,190.628 fine troy ounces of gold bullion.
