APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO THE AUDIT AND RISK MANAGEMENT
COMMITTEE

In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listing Requirements the
following is advised:

Mrs. Tshepo Monica Shabangu, an independent non-executive
director of Astral Foods, has been appointed as a member of the
Audit and Risk Management Committee of Astral Foods with effect
from 11 November 2014.

Mrs. Shabangu is a legal professional with significant
experience in managing the commercial and intellectual
property portfolios of blue-chip companies and she also has
extensive experience in corporate governance.     Mrs. Shabangu
is the past president of the South African Institute of
Intellectual Property Law and a member of the Company Law
Committee of the Law Society of South Africa.          She was
recently appointed by the Law Society of South Africa as a
representative of South Africa at the International Bar
Association.    She is currently employed as a partner in the
law firm Spoor & Fisher.
