    1. On 26 August 2014, the Company granted options over British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p
       ordinary shares (“the Shares”) to the Executive Directors and persons discharging
       managerial responsibilities below (the “Participants”) under the British American Tobacco
       Sharesave Scheme, at an option price of 2,787 pence per Share:

       American Tobacco p.l.c. shares at a price of 3,544 pence per Share.

    3. The Company was notified on 29 August 2014 that on 29 August 2014 Mr G Giordano, a
       person discharging managerial responsibilities, sold 5,438 British American Tobacco p.l.c.
       shares at a price of 3,553.5649 pence per Share.

    4. Following the above transactions, the total beneficial and family interests in British American
       Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares of the following persons discharging managerial
