Shisalanga manufactures a range of asphalt products from its plants based in Northern Kwazulu Natal. All the necessary regulatory approvals have been received and the acquisition is effective from 1 June 2014. Shareholders are further advised that Raubex has acquired a 70% interest in OMV’s aggregate crushing and ready-mix concrete operations situated near Stilfontein and a 70% interest in OMV’s gypsum operations situated near Potchefstroom in the North West Province for a purchase price of R70,3 million to be settled in cash. All the necessary regulatory approvals have been received and the acquisition is to be effective from 1 July 2014.
