CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: CHANGE IN GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited (“JSE”), the board of directors of
Omnia (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders of the retirement of Mr Noel Fitz-Gibbon as Executive
Director and Group Finance Director with effect from 30 September 2014.
Noel (60) has served on the Board since 1993. Omnia has benefited greatly from his commitment and expertise
and is pleased to advise that he will continue to serve on the Board as a non-executive director with effect from
1 October 2014.
Mr Wayne Koonin, will be appointed as Group Finance Director - designate with effect from 1 August 2014,
assuming a phased handover of responsibilities from such date. Wayne will be appointed as an Executive
Director and Group Finance Director with effect from 1 October 2014. Wayne, B.Com (Accounting) (Wits) B. Acc
(Wits), CA(SA), recently served as Finance Director for Coal of Africa Limited, which is listed on the ASX, JSE
and AIM. Wayne has gained extensive international experience working for Canadian, British, Swiss and South
African based mining companies with listings on the ASX, TSX, LSE, AIM, JSE and NASDAQ exchanges, which
has provided him with exposure to various international regulatory issues, reporting standards and transactions.
He therefore brings a wealth of financial and commercial expertise and experience to the position.
The Board wishes to thank Noel for his invaluable past contribution to Omnia and for his continued involvement
on the Board. The Board welcomes Wayne to Omnia and looks forward to his contribution to its development
and growth.
