Exxaro are advised that the Company was notified on 04 November 2013 by Coronation Asset
Management Proprietary Limited (“Coronation”) that as at 04 November 2013, Coronation held on
behalf of its clients 36 724 411 ordinary shares of 1 cent each in the Company representing 10.25
per cent of the Company’s total shares in issue of 358 115 505.
