Shareholders are hereby advised that Dr Alexander Landia
has been appointed an independent non-executive director of
the Board of Barloworld Limited with effect from 1 October
2013.

Dr Landia serves as a senior independent non-executive
director of OJSC SUEK, one of Russia's major coal
companies.
