AVAILABILITY OF RIGHTS OFFER CIRCULAR AND REVISED LISTING PARTICULARS

Shareholders are referred to the announcements released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE, the
Regulatory News Service of the London Stock Exchange and the Bucharest Stock Exchange (the “BVB”) on
13 June 2013 and 21 June 2013 in relation to the rights offer by NEPI under the terms of which NEPI
shareholders will be offered a total of 20 833 328 new NEPI shares (“the rights offer”). Shareholders are
advised that the circular and revised listing particulars in respect of the rights offer are being posted today,
8 July 2013 to NEPI shareholders on the SA share register and the UK share register and are available on the
company’s website www.nepinvest.com and on the BVB website www.bvb.ro. The circular and the revised
listing particulars form a public offer prospectus in terms of the legislation applicable in Romania.
