In compliance with Section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and Section 122
(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, as amended, shareholders of diversified resources group
Exxaro are advised that the Company was notified on 11 June 2013 by Coronation Asset
Management Proprietary Limited (“Coronation”) that as at 10 June 2013, Coronation held on
behalf of its clients 17 966 456 ordinary shares of 1 cent each in the Company representing 5.02
per cent of the Company’s total shares in issue of 357 958 275.
