APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND AUDIT COMMITTEE

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby advised that Dr. Sibongile Muthwa
(“Dr Muthwa”)has been appointed as an independent non-executive director
of Curro, and as a member of the audit committee, with effect from 1 May
2013.

Dr Muthwa is the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Institutional Support at the
Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa. Between 2004 and
2010 she served as the Director General of the Eastern Cape Provincial
Government.

Dr Muthwa holds a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies
(SOAS) as well as a Masters in Development Policy and Planning from the
London School of Economics (LSE) which are both part of the University of
London in the United Kingdom. She has a distinguished career both in South
Africa and the United Kingdom where she has worked in both the development
and public sector institutions, as well as in academia.

The board of Curro welcomes the appointment of Dr Muthwa and looks forward
to her invaluable contributions.
