VESTING OF AWARDS UNDER THE ANNUAL BONUS SCHEME
On 8 April 2013, awards of Restricted shares made to certain Executive Directors and PDMRs
under Intu Properties plc’s annual bonus scheme arrangements in 2011 were released. The
release of these shares triggers an income tax and national insurance liability for the individuals
which is generally met by selling a proportion of the shares vested. The resulting changes to
Executive Directors’ and PDMRs’ interests in Intu Properties plc shares are set out below:

EXERCISE OF OPTIONS
On 10 April 2013 Susan Marsden, Group Company Secretary, exercised an option over 88,062
Intu Properties plc shares granted in 2009 under the Company’s unapproved share option scheme
at an exercise price of £2.7169 per share. Mrs Marsden sold all 88,062 of the shares subject to the
option at the capped price of £3.339 per share, and therefore her total interest in Intu Properties
plc shares remains at 8,443 (0.001%) following the exercise.
