Furthermore, in compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Board hereby notifies shareholders that Mr Mark Wheatley will retire as Chairman and non-executive director of the Board at the annual general meeting (“AGM”) of Goliath Gold to be held on 30 April 2013. Mr Piet Nel, an independent non-executive director of the Company, will be appointed as the Independent non-executive Chairman of the Board with effect from the close of the aforementioned AGM.
